By staying at Casa Simba you are contributing to an ecological action by helping to save the Guadalm garden. All the profits from the Casa Simba B&B are used to rehabilitate this former pleasure garden, which is now virtually wild, with a few large trees and green areas that have escaped the voracity of developers. This natural area must be preserved to create a place of meditation, relaxation and eco-responsibility,
Casa Simba Rules and Regulations
The Casa Simba guest house is not open to the public. It is not a hotel, but a small family-run structure that welcomes guests. Children are not allowed. The minimum age is 18.
Welcome
In order to welcome you in the best conditions, you will be welcomed from 4pm on the day of your arrival until 8pm. Late or early arrivals will be subject to prior agreement. Payment for your stay must be made in cash on the day of arrival. If you pay by credit card, a fee of 1.75% will be charged. The deposit must be paid in cash. We invite you to make the most of all the facilities available to you, in a friendly atmosphere, respecting the privacy of each person. This means your room or suite, your private terrace, the swimming pool and nearby terraces. The interior of the property is private. The wild garden is dangerous, with prickly plants, branches, animals and numerous steps. Beware also of wild animals (peacocks) that you may encounter in the garden, as they can be dangerous. It is not possible to accommodate your pets.
The bedrooms
Rooms are not intended for meals. We reserve the right to enter rooms in your absence, for cleaning or technical reasons.
Valuables (jewellery, means of payment, etc.) must not be left in the rooms or in vehicles parked in the street, as the hosts decline all responsibility in the event of their disappearance. Guests undertake to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of their stay, and to declare and pay for any damage for which they may be responsible. Finally, the owner declines all responsibility in the event of theft or physical injury occurring during the stay in the property.
The Spa
It is forbidden to go into the pool and Jacuzzi with your body covered in suntan oil. You must take a shower beforehand and, above all, use products that are non-toxic for the environment. Pool water is recycled for the garden and animals.
The spa, jacuzzi and sauna are available at an additional cost, except for the Casita suite, where a prior request must be made at least one hour before use, to allow time for the temperature to rise. Use is limited to 60 minutes for the jacuzzi and sauna. They may not be used at night.
Outside kitchen and tables
The outside kitchen can be used by guests. It is equipped with a fridge and drinks are available for your use, which must be noted in a notebook and will be billed to you at the end of your stay.
You can also use the tables around the pool for your own meals, which you should leave clean after use. A dishwasher is available in the outside kitchen.
Breakfasts
Breakfast is served outside on the poolside terraces, on the sheltered terraces or indoors in bad weather, between 8.30am and 10.30am. On request, they can also be served on the terrace in front of certain rooms.
The table d’hôte
If you wish to dine at the table d’hôte, please let us know when you make your reservation, or let us know the day before your stay.
General conditions
Naturism is accepted, but around the swimming pool and in the communal areas, you must have the agreement of the other guests.
For the sake of hygiene and safety, we ask our guests to wear shoes when moving around the communal areas. Avoid walking barefoot in the garden.
It is absolutely forbidden to light fires on the property, even in a barbecue, and smoking is prohibited in communal areas. The establishment is non-smoking. However, smoking is permitted on the private terraces of the rooms; ask for an ashtray if necessary.
We are counting on your cooperation
Avoid any noise or discussion that might disturb other guests. Silence must be maintained between 11pm and 7.30am.
Avoid leaving the air conditioning on unnecessarily. Turn it off when you leave the room and close the doors and windows when it is on. On the air conditioning remote control, there is a button (timing) to switch off the air conditioning in 1, 2 or 3 hours.
Use water sparingly. Here in Andalusia, water has become scarce.
To ensure that the individual sanitation system works properly, do not throw anything into the toilet other than toilet paper, as all other waste has its own bin.
Avoid mixing used towels with unused ones.
Departures
On the last day of your stay, departures take place at 11.00 a.m. You will pay for any additional services and receive a cash refund of your deposit. We wish you an excellent stay.
